Chasing Ice

Last night I watched a new documentary and I felt it was definitely worth sharing
not only for the extremely important message it has but also for the
time, work, dedication, and passion that was involved in making it.

Directed by the legendary James Balog, scientist, photographer, mountaineer, and founder of the Extreme Ice Survey (EIS), not to mention one of my personal heroes, Chasing Ice is an incredible film both visually and mentally.
In this documentary, Balog and his crew set out to capture undeniable evidence of climate change in some of the coldest parts of the world.  Using time-lapse photography Balog and his crew are able to capture the changing glaciers throughout the years, and their findings are shocking.
This is really an incredible film.  The heart and soul that went into this project is incredible.  The beauty of the photography is other-worldly, and the proof of the rapid changes taking place within our planet because of human ignorance and carelessness is undeniable.
If you don't feel inspired to make changes and educate others to do the same after watching a film like this, you don't deserve to live on the incredible planet that is Earth.

This film will move you, it will awaken you, and it will chill you to the bone.
